New Bank Main Office
Cooper Construction built the Wachovia Bank main office at 301 South Main Street in downtown Hendersonville, North Carolina.
The building opened in 1992. It has two floors of red brick and a tall gabled entry with a round vent near the peak, and it sits back from Main Street behind a drive that circles two landscaped islands.
Wachovia later merged into Wells Fargo, and the building is now Wells Fargo's Hendersonville main branch, with the Community Foundation of Henderson County in offices upstairs.
