Cooper Construction Company has proudly served as the general contractor for four major projects at Upward Christian Fellowship in Flat Rock, North Carolina. Their vision statement, "Building His church by transforming our communities," resonates deeply with us.

Original Building Construction - We constructed their original 18,000-square-foot facility featuring a 120' x 150' two-story pre-engineered metal building. The project included 26 engineered column footings, energy-efficient insulation, 43 insulated windows, 2,104 SF of facing stone on prominent walls, and an elevator pit roughed in for future use.

Sanctuary Renovation - We renovated the sanctuary by removing a rear wall, constructed a new entrance lobby, built a new audio-visual booth, added walls beside the pulpit platform for enhanced acoustics, and extended the existing platform. We coordinated with the Audio-Video-Lighting contractor for seamless AVL system integration.

Restroom Renovation - This comprehensive interior renovation included new drywall assemblies, acoustical ceilings, tile work, custom millwork with quartz countertops, new doors, 72" toilet partitions, HVAC modifications, LED lighting, plumbing installations, and fire alarm panel replacement.

Parking Lot Expansion - We added 250 parking spaces across 6.75 acres, including site clearing and grading, erosion control, stormwater management, curbing, stone base, paving, pavement marking, concrete sidewalks, stairs with railings, and seeding.
