10,000 SF Facility
3,200 SF Expansion

Cooper Construction has built twice for Thermocouple Components Corp. in Flat Rock, North Carolina.

The first was a 10,000 square foot manufacturing and office facility on Reeds Way.

The second, was a 3,200 square foot Varco-Pruden pre-engineered metal building with an 18 foot eave, 26 gauge steel wall panels and 24 gauge Galvalume roofing. Twelve PrisMAX skylights bring daylight into the warehouse, which cuts what the 32 high-bay LED fixtures have to do. Mechanical is a 7.5 ton heat pump with a 150,000 BTU unit heater over the warehouse, and the dock leveler is rated to 30,000 pounds. The office side is finished in carpet tile with acoustical ceilings for the company's R&D team.

Cooper also did the site work: paving, utilities, stormwater and landscaping.
