Cooper Construction built the production facility for Russian Chapel Hills Winery in Columbus, North Carolina.

A winery holds its own temperature or the wine tells on it. The building is a Varco-Pruden metal building insulated to 6 inches in the ceiling and 4 in the walls, which is the cheapest way to do that.

It runs to 3,500 square feet, framed on heavy steel spans so the floor is open, with the drains set where a winery floor needs them and 230 volt single phase power run to the production equipment. Inside are case storage, barrel storage, offices, a lab, the production tanks and shipping and receiving. Cooper installed the HVAC for the storage areas and the offices.

The winery was laid out for a production capability of up to 5,000 cases a year.
