Cooper Construction built the Reuter Center at UNC Asheville in Asheville, North Carolina, on a hill on the north side of campus looking back over it.

The building opened in the summer of 2003, after a five year campaign of planning and fundraising paid for entirely from private sources. It is named for Irving J. Reuter, a former General Motors executive whose estate established the Janirve Foundation.

The two-story building is organized around a glass atrium. It holds four classrooms fitted for multimedia, an art studio classroom, a multipurpose room for 125 that is also wired for multimedia, a catering kitchen, a take-out cafe, two common areas and an outdoor terrace. UNC Asheville's own account puts it at 20,000 square feet.

On-grade parking across both levels takes 129 cars.
