Cooper Construction built the education and administration addition for Mud Creek Baptist Church in Hendersonville, North Carolina.

The addition is three stories and 22,684 square feet, carrying Sunday School, the Christian Academy, and Kids and Student Ministry under one roof.

The entire site had to be undercut eight feet before the building went up, which required special permitting from the City of Hendersonville.

Cooper was back on the campus two decades later for the HVAC. In January 2023 Cooper replaced the sanctuary's rooftop units, setting two 25-ton and two 7.5-ton Trane units by crane with new curb adapters, controls, gas piping and electrical connections.

Dr. Greg T. Mathis, the church's senior pastor, wrote afterwards that "in our mind this is the kind of building experience that every church should enjoy," and that "the quality construction company that you both have built is a reflection of your character and commitment."
