Cooper Construction expanded the Mona Lisa Chocolate Decorations factory in Hendersonville, North Carolina for the Barry Callebaut Group.

The expansion was built to take two pieces of equipment: a new molded cup line and a high-capacity decorating machine. The machine is what the building was for. It lets the plant run multi-colored decorations, marbled and open shapes, and molded and filled inclusions that the old line could not produce.

The plant went from 40,892 to 65,666 square feet. Barry Callebaut sells these products to chocolatiers, pastry chefs, bakers and foodservice across the US.
