The center belongs to UNC Asheville and takes classes and conferences. The two buildings come to 8,000 square feet between them.

It sits on 46.3 acres of forest and field trails, with natural and man-made art installations along them. A conference center on that kind of site is as much about how people move between the buildings and the trails as about the buildings themselves.
