Project Scope

4,000 SF Build-Out

Cooper Construction completed build-out upfit services for the Henderson County Human Services Building in Hendersonville, NC. This upfit is designed to better serve the growing population in Henderson County as new challenges and needs arise. Cooper Construction takes pride in contributing to our community in this way.

Cooper Construction also performed HVAC services for the upfit. The HVAC scope involved installing and integrating air distribution components and controls into an existing building automation system. This included setting up air distribution systems, exhaust fans, and square-to-round ductwork transitions to meet airflow requirements.

Cooper Construction also insulated all ductwork and hot water heating pipes to ensure energy efficiency and prevent condensation. Seven Trane variable air volume (VAV) fan-powered terminal units were provided for seamless integration with the existing Tracer system.

The project included necessary programming, controllers, control valves, and owner training, resulting in a fully operational HVAC control system that improved climate control and air distribution efficiency throughout the facility.
