57,000 SF EMS Headquarters

Cooper Construction performed design-build services for the 57,000 SF Thomas H. Thompson Emergency Services Center for Henderson County. Located on the site of the former Balfour School, this comprehensive facility serves as the centralized home for Henderson County Emergency Management, EMS, Rescue Squad, and the Fire Marshal's office. The center features office space for emergency personnel, dedicated training rooms for first responders, extensive equipment storage areas, and meeting rooms to support coordinated emergency response operations. The facility was designed to enhance the county's emergency preparedness and response capabilities by consolidating multiple emergency services under one roof, improving communication and coordination among first responders while providing modern amenities for training and daily operations.
