Henderson County Day of Caring
On September 30th our team of project managers and superintendents spent the morning sprucing up the playground at Hendersonville Elementary for the United Way of Henderson County's Day of Caring. We planted trees, spread mulch and helped with the landscaping.
We were happy to be just a few of the over 300 volunteers from the community that spent the day working on 39 projects at 31 nonprofit agencies and schools during this annual event.
The time donated at the Day of Caring equates to 1,180 cumulative work hours, worth about $27,222, according to UWHC staff.
