2,200 SF Design-Build, 3,300 SF Hurricane Recovery, 1,055 SF Addition

Cooper Construction has built for Forest Dermatology three times in Hendersonville, North Carolina.

The first was a 2,200 square foot practice in 2017. In 2024 Hurricane Helene flooded the office and Cooper restored all 3,300 square feet of it on an expedited schedule. Exam rooms, consultation offices, the patient waiting area, staff spaces, restrooms and the server room all came out and went back in. Cooper matched the replacement doors, hardware and millwork to the practice's original design so the rebuilt office would not read as a rebuild.

The building's systems came with the finishes. HVAC motherboards were replaced across every unit, electrical panels were cleaned and recertified, plumbing fixtures were replaced, and anti-static flooring went into the server room.

A 1,055 square foot addition followed in 2025, with a 2 ton heat pump and new louvers and vents for it.
