Cooper Construction Company successfully completed a comprehensive 7,600 square foot facility upgrade for Flat Rock Cider Company in Henderson County, North Carolina. This project transformed existing space into a state-of-the-art cider production facility, enhancing the company's capacity to produce premium hard cider while supporting their "Orchard to the Glass" philosophy of sourcing fresh apples from local orchards in North Carolina's largest apple-producing county.

The renovation encompassed specialized production areas with modern cider processing equipment, controlled fermentation environments, and quality control facilities. Infrastructure improvements included upgraded electrical systems for industrial equipment, enhanced plumbing and drainage, temperature and humidity control systems, and specialized ventilation for fermentation processes. The project also implemented food-grade facility standards, health department compliance upgrades, safety systems, and ADA accessibility improvements.

The upgraded facility enables Flat Rock Cider Company to expand production capacity while maintaining their commitment to hand-picking apples from local orchards and producing high-quality hard ciders.
