Cooper Construction built the youth building for First Baptist Church of Hendersonville in Hendersonville, North Carolina.

The church calls it The CrossWalk. It runs to 33,313 square feet and holds two large assembly rooms, classrooms, snack and vending areas, and a gymnasium fitted with basketball goals and volleyball sleeves.

The lower level is sealed concrete with carpet in the assembly areas. The upper floors are impact-resistant drywall, which is what you specify when you know teenagers will be using the building. The gymnasium is open to the community as well as to church members.

Cooper has held the church's mechanical work since. Cooper relocated a rooftop unit in 2021, replaced registers through the building, and in February 2023 replaced six Trane water source heat pumps.
