Cooper Construction built the water system improvements for the Liberty-Chesnee-Fingerville Water District in Chesnee, South Carolina. Ardurra Group was engineer of record.

The work ran across three service areas of the district. Crews installed new water main, tied it into a system that stayed in service the whole time, and carried the line under a road by directional bore rather than cutting the road open and closing it to traffic. Where the district's customers were on the far side of that crossing, they did not lose water while it was done.

A second contract followed for improvements to the district's pump station, including new electrical service and control systems.

Cooper first worked for Liberty-Chesnee-Fingerville in 2015. The district called us back nine years later for a larger job, and again the year after that.
