Cooper Construction built the assisted living building at Carolina Village in Hendersonville, North Carolina.

The building is 63,486 square feet, hollow-core concrete plank under a wood-trussed roof, with masonry, stucco and glazing outside it, two hydraulic elevators, automatic entrances, a fire protection system and a full food service fit-out. In the same program Cooper added 5,981 square feet to an existing building, renovated 1,649 square feet of it, and rebuilt 3,500 square feet of the pool and dining facilities.

Cooper has since built 14 cottages on the same campus.
