22,500 SF Renovation & Upfit, 5,000 SF Addition

Cooper Construction renovated and upfitted Bold Rock Hard Cider's warehouse in Mills River, North Carolina and built the warehouse and production addition that followed.

The tasting room sits inside the warehouse with a mezzanine above it, so visitors drink looking down on the bottling line. That was the point of the layout.

Cooper also replaced the pumps in the cidery's lift station.

The renovation covered 22,500 square feet and the addition added 5,000. Bold Rock presses Henderson County apples and distributes through North and South Carolina, Tennessee and Georgia. It is the largest independently owned cidery in the United States, at over 800,000 cases a year.
