Cooper Construction Company served as general contractor for the 6,378-square-foot Blue Ridge Community College Public Safety Training Facility in Henderson County, North Carolina. The facility supports approximately 50 public safety programs and courses offered by the college, providing specialized training for law enforcement, fire and rescue, and emergency medical agencies.

Located adjacent to the established Fire Training Center on the college's Henderson County Campus in Flat Rock, the facility meets state requirements for the College Basic Law Enforcement Training Program and offers flexible multi-use indoor training space for all public safety training needs across Western North Carolina.

The facility features an advanced driving simulator that provides students with realistic training in diverse driving conditions and scenarios. As a finishing touch to the project, Cooper Construction donated an American flag that now flies over the facility, symbolizing the company's commitment to supporting the frontline public safety professionals who protect and serve the community.
