Cooper Construction built the office and warehouse for Baker Roofing in Mills River, North Carolina.

Baker Roofing was founded in 1915. When its Asheville team outgrew its office it hired Cooper to build the replacement.

The building is 15,000 square feet, 6,000 of office with warehouse storage behind it. Four overhead doors open the warehouse, two at ten feet square and two at twelve by fourteen, under Galvalume standing seam. The office side carries eighteen storefront windows, a color standing seam roof, and a canopy over the lobby door.

Cooper installed the HVAC. Mitsubishi ductless heat pumps carry most of it, a 3 ton MXZ unit serving four indoor heads and a 4 ton PUMY serving two cassettes, backed by two Trane heat pumps with matched air handlers. Four Cook exhaust fans and two Reznor gas unit heaters complete it.
