After a fire destroyed their cold storage, packing, and cider facility in January, AppleWedge Packers & Cider turned to Cooper Construction to rebuild their operations in time for the fall harvest.

Cooper Construction provided comprehensive design-build services for this fast-track project, developing floor plans and exterior elevations that met the client's operational needs while ensuring rapid delivery. Our team constructed a 52,500 SF pre-engineered metal building that consolidates their entire operation under one roof. The new facility features a state-of-the-art packing production line, cider processing capabilities, dedicated raw fruit and packaged fruit coolers, a two-story office building, and modern employee amenities including breakrooms and restrooms.

Cooper Construction's in-house HVAC team designed and installed specialized climate control systems tailored to the unique demands of apple processing operations. These systems provide precise environmental controls for cider processing, raw fruit storage, and packaged product coolers, along with comprehensive heating and cooling throughout the production facility.
