Case Study

Henderson COUNTY 911 Communications Center

Industry

Project Location

Hendersonville, NC

Project Scope

7,500 SF Renovation

Cooper Construction relocated Henderson County's E-911 Call Center into a new facility inside the Hendersonville Law Enforcement Center in Hendersonville, North Carolina.

The center dispatches for four law enforcement agencies, thirty fire stations and four EMS stations. It takes about 200,000 calls a year and handles over 124,000 service dispatches. It cannot go down.

Cooper built the 7,500 square foot space to 911 Board standards, brought in the updated equipment and communication systems, and secured the room. The workstations were laid out for how dispatchers work and with room for the positions the county will need later.
